Garrison Street is one of the go-to for Christmas light sightings.  Almost every house on this street goes all out with Christmas lights and decorations.  Grab the family and a hot chocolate and meander through the street for a top-notch lights experience.  Cost: $0.

The Fantasy on Ice ice skating rink in Liberty Station will be open from November 16 through January 7 from 10 AM to 10 PM daily. The ice rink is partnered with Rady’s Children’s Hospital to raise money for the hospital and the children who use its services. It’s $12 for children and $14 for adults. Or you can buy a season pass for $50.

On December 1 from 6-10 PM, The Center for Justice & Reconciliation at Point Loma Nazarene University will put on their annual Roots of Giving fair that brings artisans, farmers, immigrant businesses and other community members together to sell their fair trade and justly created goods.  While you’re shopping, you can stop by Caf Lane for the Cider Celebration! Come grab some dinner and do some Christmas shopping all while doing good! Cost: Whatever you spend on Christmas gifts!

Liberty Station will be hosting a holiday marketplace on Dec. 1 from 4-10 PM.  You can enjoy shopping from Liberty Station vendors and shops as well as live music and of course, that ice skating rink!!

The Cider Celebration Christmas Show: Put on by the Point Loma Nazarene University Concert Choir, Chorale and Extol, with special guest appearances by Christmas celebrities such as Santa Claus, Frosty, and Rudolph. The show takes place on Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. both nights. Cost: $10.

In Liberty Station on December 2 from 2-3:30 PM and then again from 7-8:30 PM, a festive holiday concert will take place in the McMillin Companies Event Center.  This concert will be a mix of classic, popular, and contemporary holiday music. The cost is $5-$30.

The Ocean Beach Holiday Parade takes place on December 2!  Come join the quaint little beach town nestled beside Point Loma for a festive holiday kick-off.  You may even get to meet Santa!

The concert will be performed on Sunday, December 3rd at  3:00 p.m. in Brown Chapel. The cost is $0 unless you feel compelled to give to help out!

Just three weeks before Christmas, All Souls’ Episcopal Church in Point Loma will celebrate its 65th Christmas Home Tour and Marketplace. The Christmas Home Tour and Marketplace is an expanded marketplace that encourages festive planning, with gifts or decorations that include handmade treasures and home-cooked treats for Christmas stockings or the feast table. There will be amazing food trucks and all kinds of local artisans. Each home is enchanting and festive, some with fresh-baked cookies and some with stories read on the porch.  This event is on December 3 from 10 AM to 4 PM.  The cost is $30-$35.
