BayView Senior Assisted Living is located in what was originally a convent to the neighboring St. Agnes parish. We’ve renovated this beautiful, historical building into a welcoming, safe, and cozy memory care and assisted living community. We’re proud to have preserved the heritage of a site that has been a staple in the Point Loma community for many years.

Point Loma History
Interestingly, Point Loma marks the first location in California where European explorers came ashore. It’s often described as the birthplace of California. Portuguese navigator Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo led an expedition that arrived on California’s shores in 1542. Cabrillo National Monument, a must-see site when visiting Point Loma or San Diego, honors Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo and his expedition.

- Close to downtown San Diego, a visit to Point Loma offers the opportunity to tour the historic USS Midway.
- From shops to restaurants, mini golf, an art district, and even hair salons, Liberty Station offers a variety of fun activities for all ages.
- Visit Point Loma Nazarene University. This picturesque campus supplies gorgeous ocean views.
- Offering a variety of well-maintained public spaces, Point Loma is the perfect spot to find a bench on the bayfront to watch the boats or watch the tides roll in.

Our home and spacious grounds meet all ADA requirements, including wide hallways, safety rails, shower chairs, and no lips or gaps at doorways. This allows for easy wheelchair and walker access, increasing residents' mobility.
